John Jackson launches Encore Group’s Scheduling and Claims Division

Encore Group welcomes John Jackson as Partner and Director of Scheduling and Claims. He has an extensive background in the construction scheduling, delay analysis and litigation disciplines. He has provided expert assistance in program and construction scheduling, project controls and documentation systems, economic and forensic construction analysis, damage calculations for over 200 construction and development organizations.

As a consultant, teacher and expert with experience in the management of construction projects ranging from $1 million to $5 billion, Mr. Jackson’s construction background includes heavy civil, infrastructure, airport construction, hospitals, rapid transit, hotel/casino, commercial and industrial construction projects. He understands critical path management in project development and construction from the early conceptual design phases, through procurement and bidding, to successful execution of the project plan, closeout and dispute resolution. His litigation support experience includes both cost and schedule impact analyses.

Mr. Jackson’s delay analyses and dispute resolution presentations excel in issue clarity and communication. Over the past ten years, his “Planning and Scheduling” and “Managing Delays” workshops have earned a national reputation. He has written articles, consulted on federal legislation, and developed seminars and workshops emphasizing a pro-active approach to early resolution of disputes.

In 1995 Mr. Jackson founded PCI Group, a project controls consulting firm. Prior to its acquisition in 2008, PCI Group grew to one of the largest construction scheduling and dispute resolution consulting firms in the U.S. Mr. Jackson also served as Vice President with Hill International before joining Encore Group. He is currently an instructor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas College of Engineering and Construction.
